Launch of 3G live video streaming developer module – LiveCast 1.0

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, December 16, 2005 –Nextnation Network (Nextnation) a leading mobile application service provider, today announced LiveCast 1.0, its new 3G-developer module for live video streaming.

Nextnation have earlier successfully deployed 3G technology-ready developer modules on the third generation of MINDCEP platform back in 2004. “Our robust MINDCEP platform has allowed us to develop and deploy new technology with minimum cost and faster time to market. With the 3G technology approaching maturity, the 3G developer modules have stabilized and ready for commercial use,” commented PY Tey, Chief Executive Office, Nextnation. “Developers’ can now produce, edit and broadcast video clips using the Internet, WAP or mobile Java video streaming client,” added PY Tey.

The company hope to attract 50 partners in first half of 2006 to use the new service, and able to benefit from buyout 3G transactions in coming years.

The company targets an additional 400 million subscribers by first quarter 2006 with its overseas expansion from 80 million today. Currently Nextnation’s platform is serving thousands of partners and 20 mobile operators in Asia.
