The Company wishes to announce that it has on 4 October 2005 given two (2) weeks’ notice to Affin Merchant Bank Berhad (“Affin”) on the termination of Affin as the Sponsor of the Company effective 18 October 2005 (“Termination”).
Following the Termination, the Company has appointed Public Merchant Bank Berhad as the new Sponsor of the Company with effect from 18 October 2005 (“Appointment”).
The Board of Directors of the Company is of the view that the change of Sponsor is in the best interest of the Company. Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad has approved the Termination and Appointment.
This announcement is dated 4 October 2005.
