Nextnation Teams Up with Industry Players To Celebrate Old Folks

SHAH ALAM, September 12, 2009 – Nextnation Communication Berhad (Nextnation), a mobile application developer, together with 12 major industry players and Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) brought cheers to 500 disabled, old folks and under privileged kids in the Klang Valley with a donation of rice, cookies and cash worth RM10,000 in one harmonious event held at Kompleks Warisan Kelab Warga Emas, Shah Alam, organized by Pertubuhan Anak Yatim/Miskin Bandaraya Shah Alam (Perhatin)

Present as the chief guest at the event was former Batu Tiga assemblyman, Datuk Salamon Selamat. Also in attendance as a special guest was Tuan Haji Shamsul Najib Mohtar, Deputy Director, SKMM and En. Ruzlan Che Yusof, Head of Regulatory, Telekom Malaysia.

During the event, a presentation was held where cash donations were made to 500 disabled individuals, old folks and under privileged kids who are members of Perhatin. The contribution was courtesy of SKMM and the industry through SKMM & Industry Interclub. The Ramadan get-together is an annual event held for the purpose of strengthening ties between all special needs members under one roof to enjoy the festivities with their careers and relevant officials and staff.
