KUALA LUMPUR - OCTOBER 16, 2008 - Nextnation Communication Berhad and its staffs have donated RM 8,400 to Yayasan Sin Chew, which was formed to provide financial aid to the victims of the Sichuan earthquake and Myanmar disaster. Nextnation’s Group General Manager, K S Lim and Corporate Communication Manager, Qimie Abdul Razak presented the cheque to Sin Chew Jit Poh represented by Public Relations Manager, Mr Liew in Petaling Jaya. Compassion means seeing the humanity in others, being sensitive towards them and actually doing things to help them. We live in times when differences in race and creed are emphasised but actually there are far more similarities between all peoples. We all have the same needs in life where ever we happen to live. True civilisation isn't about art or music or wonderful architecture; just the things people usually associate with a civilised society. It is simply to do with how well one human being treats another human being-that is the real mark of a civilised society. Cultivating compassion may be central for the survival of the whole human race. We encourage every person to touch the lives of others and make a difference by making a contribution to the victims of the disaster. Nextnation and its staffs have shown great determination in ensuring the better of mankind and to make our presence welcomed by others. SYABAS, Nextnation’s brothers and sisters.
