The tax exempt dividend of 2 sen per Nextnation share of 10 sen each declared by Nextnation is payable on 30 September 2005 to shareholders whose names appear in the Record of Depositors of the Company at the close of business on 21 September 2005.

Based on the total number of 252.0 million shares outstanding and the Group's net profit of RM12.50 million for the financial year ended 30 April 2005, the net dividend to be paid to the shareholders will amount to RM5.04 million or equivalent to a payout ratio of 40.3%.

"The declaration of the first interim tax exempt dividend is a major milestone that reflects our commitment to shareholders to participate in the profits of the Group as well as leaving adequate reserves for the Group's future growth," said Tey Por Yee, Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Nextnation.

Nextnation recently announced its first quarter consolidated net profit of RM3.8 million on the back of RM15.2 million revenue for the financial period ended 31 July 2005.

"With the overseas expansion plan that we are currently embarking on, we are confident that the Group's performance for the current financial year will be promising," added Tey Por Yee.

The Group is embarking on overseas expansion to continue charting its growth path in the near future. It intends to expand its market share in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and further expand into China. Further down the pipeline, it intends to make inroads into Europe, Vietnam and USA.
